GRAPHIC DESIGN: Anything you can envision, Jill CAN design. She uses Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop on her desktop Macintosh to create art. Print pieces she has done include: brochures, logos, annual reports, direct mailers, booklets, books, advertisements, billboards, posters, CD album artwork, folders, postcards, and has even worked on a DC Smithsonian exhibit.
WEB DESIGN: Flyeye Design creates custom websites tailored to YOU! We partner a graphic designer with a small team of developers to produce a great-looking website for your business. While we can create your standard HTML & CSS websites, we typically create CMS-built websites using WordPress or even better – custom built solutions. We can build shopping carts, databases, slideshows, forms and anything else you might need for a successful website.
ILLUSTRATION: Custom illustrations can make your pieces unique and memorable. Jill can create custom vector illustration in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop illustrations with a variety of styles, or even hand-drawn illustrations. Show us some styles you are looking for and let’s talk!
Jill Harner
Graphic Designer & Owner
Jill’s passion is to collaborate with clients one-on-one and really hear their design needs. She takes those needs and suggests creative additions to enhance their projects into something that stands out.
Jill holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in graphic design from Shepherd University (go Class of ’99!) and has been in the industry for over 15 years. Some of her job experiences include working for a printer, a newspaper, several marketing companies, an IT company, an online retail company, on a crazy intense political campaign season and for a government contractor. Currently Jill also is an adjunct graphic design instructor at Shepherd University, teaching Typography.
Jill initially founded Flyeye Design in 2002 as a part-time freelance company. It became more and more ideal as her husband was in the Air Force. She got tired of having to find new jobs when they were constantly moving around the country every few years. She also discovered that not all parts of the country hire graphic designers!
Freelancing became her full-time job in 2007, with her first regular clients being Scholastic and Clyde’s Restaurant Group. Flyeye Design is a woman-owned, licensed business in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Although we are in West Virginia, it is only an hour and a half from Baltimore and Washington, DC.

Dejan specializes in frontend as well as backend development for web applications, integrating custom search and matching engines etc. He has work experience with Python, PHP, JavaScript, Apache Lucene/Solr, Bash scripting and cronjobs… He is an occasional gamer, web-addict and all-around geek.
